The Civilization Demo is taken from the actual Civilization game. The demo starts with an early civilization that is still working toward the use of electricity, gunpowder and flight. Because the set is limited, pictures in the demo may not match corresponding characters as they do in the game.
CIVILOPEDIA • The Civilopedia contains descriptions of the technology, wonders, units and city improvements that can be used in Civilization. The pictures for the Civilopedia come with the the actual Civilization˛ game but are not included in the demo because of size restrictions.
CITIES • Double click on the cities to open the city screen. Here you will find your population, food production, trade, land utilization, tax base, construction projects and troop support. Making adjustments allows you to quell unrest, reduce corruption or increase research. Controlling your food surpluses can control your population growth. Or, reducing your military and bureaucracy can increase your productivity. The nice thing is that Civilization allows you to take detailed control of each cities performance or, if you don't want to be bothered, you can let the computer do the house keeping work.
REPORTS • The reports give you useful information that can tell you how well your civilization is growing and how you rank amoung the other civilizations. If you have sent a diplomat to establish an embassy your information will be even better.
